To keep every guest's stay as comfortable and safe as the last, we've put together a few ground rules. They're not here to spoil the fun — they protect the peaceful atmosphere and the pristine condition of Tippity Top. Thank you for treating our home with the same care and respect you'd give your own.
The essentials
No pets. We're huge animal lovers ourselves, but the cabin is intentionally a pet-free home — out of respect for guests with severe allergies. Bringing a pet onto the property means being asked to leave without a refund.
Occupancy: a maximum of 8 guests, for everyone's comfort and safety.
No smoking or vaping indoors — outside only. Full details on the Smoking & vaping page.
No parties or events beyond the guests included in your booking.
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM, out of respect for our neighbors — including turning off the outdoor Bluetooth speakers during those hours.
Safety & property care
Fire safety: per local fire code, no candles, matches, or open flames inside. Outdoors, please use only the gas amenities we provide — no open fires or portable fire pits.
Don't disable safety devices: never tamper with, cover, or disable the smoke detectors, carbon-monoxide alarms, or exterior security cameras.
Supervise children at all times — especially near the stairs, hot tub, and balconies.
Please don't move the furniture or rearrange the beds; the layout is set just so.
Don't feed the wildlife or leave food scraps outside — more in Wildlife & nature.
Deck safety: no climbing on the railings or hanging items (like wet towels) over them.
Keep doors and windows closed when the heat or A/C is running — see Heating & cooling.
Respectful use
Photography: no commercial or professional photo shoots without our prior written approval.
Parking: use only the cabin's designated spaces so neighbors and emergency vehicles have clear access — see Parking.
Report issues right away. If something breaks or isn't working, tell us now — we'd much rather fix it for you than find out after you leave. See Breakages.
Respect check-in and checkout times so our cleaning team has what they need to get the cabin perfect for the next arrival.
No illegal activities or substances are permitted on the property.

If you open it, close it. If you turn it on, turn it off. If you borrow it, return it. If you move it, put it back. If you break it, tell us. If you make a mess, clean it up. If you use it, treat it with care.
