The cabin has three ecobee thermostats — one for each level. Each floor has its own heating/AC unit and is controlled independently, so you can dial in the comfort wherever you are.

Pre-set for comfort: 75°F in summer, 69°F in winter. Nudge it warmer or cooler with the up / down arrows on the screen — the blue bubble shows your target temperature.

A few simple requests

  • Leave the fan on Auto at all times.
  • Keep windows and doors closed while the A/C or heat is running.
  • Try to keep the upstairs and downstairs set close to each other, so no single unit has to overwork heating or cooling the whole house.

Room sensors — not cameras!

You'll spot a few of these little white pucks around the cabin. They are not cameras — they're ecobee remote temperature sensors that help balance the temperature from room to room. Thanks to them, the bedrooms stay comfortable even with the door closed.
