Smoking & vaping
Please help us keep the cabin fresh and comfortable for every guest by not smoking or vaping anywhere inside the house. We completely understand that some guests smoke or vape — and there's plenty of room outside where it's welcome: the porches, the decks, and the parking lot.
If you're smoking outdoors, please be a good neighbor: use the ashtrays, fully extinguish and dispose of butts in a trash container, and keep smoke from drifting near open windows or doors.
Fire safety matters here. The Smokies can hit severe fire-danger levels — please fully extinguish and properly dispose of all smoking materials to help prevent wildfires.
Our cleaners inspect after every stay and will let us know if the house smells of smoke or shows any sign of indoor smoking or vaping. If it's detected, a $500 cleaning fee applies to cover deep cleaning and odor removal.
