Getting In
First-night quick tips

You made it up the mountain — welcome! Here's a two-minute settle-in so you can stop reading and start relaxing. None of it is required; it's just the stuff most folks want in the first ten minutes.

  1. 1Get on the wifi. Network TippityTop, password 5StarsPlease. The QR code and Wi-Fi Calling tips are on Get on the wifi.
  2. 2Find the lights. Switches are by the doors as you'd expect — and most lights are voice-controlled too, so you can just ask Alexa.
  3. 3Set the temperature. There's a thermostat on each level — nudge it to taste. How it all works: Heating & cooling.
  4. 4Lock up for the night. Just rest your palm on the keypad to lock the door. The full how-to (including the patio multipoint locks) is on Unlocking the door.
  5. 5Claim a TV. Every TV is a Roku — power on, pick your checkout date in Guest Mode, then sign into your own apps. See Televisions.
Want the hot tub or sauna tonight? The hot tub is always ready; the barrel sauna takes about 30–45 minutes to warm up, so flip it on early.

A few first-night good-to-knows

  • Charging cables are in every bedroom and the kitchen — and there's a handy where-things-are guide if you're hunting for something.
  • A flashlight is in each bedroom in case the power blips — more on that in Power or internet out?
  • The kitchen is fully stocked — pots, pans, coffee, the works. Details on the Kitchen page.
Settle in and look around — and if anything isn't right or you can't find something, text us right away. We'd always rather fix it now than have you wish you'd asked.
