Kitchen

The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for anything — a quick snack, morning coffee, or a big group dinner after a day on the trails. Here's a rundown of the main appliances, how to use them, and a few notes to keep cooking up here easy.

What you'll find

We've tried to stock the kitchen the way we'd want our own — if you'd reach for it at home, it's probably here. The essentials:

Cook & prepPots & pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, colander, cutting boards, a full knife block, measuring cups & spoons, and a drawer of utensils (spatulas, whisk, tongs, ladle, peeler, can opener, corkscrew)
Small appliancesDrip coffee maker · Keurig pod machine · toaster · air fryer · rice cooker · blender
Dishes & glasswarePlates, bowls & dishes for a full house · coffee mugs · everyday glasses · wine glasses · kids' dishware
Stocked for youStarter spices · cooking oil · salt & pepper · coffee filters · dish soap · dishwasher pods · paper towels · foil & storage bags
Ice & waterFiltered water and two kinds of ice (everyday + slow-melting craft ice) from the fridge door
This is the short version — there's more tucked into the drawers and cabinets. Can't find something? Check Where things are, or just text us.

Air Fryer — Gourmia 8-Quart Dual Basket

A Gourmia 8-quart digital air fryer, great for everything from crispy appetizers to a full roasted dinner. The two independent baskets let you cook two different foods at once — wonderful when you're feeding a group. Pull a basket out to load it, slide it back in, and you're ready.

Press Power, choose a mode — Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Broil, Dehydrate, Reheat, or Keep Warm — then use the arrows to set temperature and time, and press Start. For best results, tap Preheat first (especially for air frying or roasting). The Turn Reminder will nudge you mid-cook to flip your food for even crisping. Press Stop/Cancel anytime to pause or end.

Let the baskets cool before cleaning — they rinse or wipe clean easily. Please don't submerge the main unit in water.

The air fryer lives in the pull-out corner cabinet — see “Corner pull-out shelves” below for how to slide it out safely.

Electric Range — LG 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Slide-In

A premium LG smart electric range with a smooth glass-ceramic cooktop, five burner elements, and a roomy 6.3 cubic-foot convection oven for even, consistent heat. The touch controls are on the front panel — pick your setting, set the temperature and timer, and you're cooking. The oven even has a built-in Air Fry mode, so feel free to use it for bigger batches.

For cleaning, there are two options. EasyClean needs just a light spray of water inside the oven and runs about 10 minutes — perfect for light messes after a great meal. A full Self-Clean is also available, but please use EasyClean during your stay if you need it. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the glass cooktop.

The range is WiFi-enabled and works with Alexa. If you'd like to pair it with the cabin's Alexa, just ask us before arrival and we'll walk you through it.

Refrigerator — LG French-Door

A large LG French-door refrigerator with a filtered water and ice dispenser right in the door. It makes both everyday ice and slow-melting round “craft ice” — perfect for a mountain cocktail on the deck. The water is filtered, so help yourself.

Feeding a crowd? Give the ice maker a little time to catch back up after a big fill — it'll keep up, it just works in batches.

Dishwasher — LG

A quiet LG dishwasher that does a beautiful job. Scrape plates (no need to pre-rinse), load them in, and pop a detergent pod in the dispenser on the inside of the door.

Close it firmly, choose a cycle — Auto or Normal is perfect for most loads — and press Start. That's it.

If a cycle won't begin, double-check the door is latched and the pod dispenser is closed. Any trouble, just text us.

Corner pull-out shelves

That deep corner cabinet hides a clever two-tier pull-out system — pull the front basket and the rear baskets glide out right along with it, bringing everything within reach. It's where we keep a few appliances, so it's worth knowing how it works.

  1. 1Open the cabinet door fully.
  2. 2Take the basket handle and pull straight out, slowly — the hidden rear baskets will follow on their own.
  3. 3Grab or load what you need, then push gently back until the soft-close takes over.
A couple of small things: the rice cooker (and other items) may be tucked at the very back and not visible until the shelves are fully extended. And please pull gently — the shelves are precisely positioned so they clear the appliances without scratching them. Please don't move or re-adjust them; if anything feels stuck, text us rather than forcing it.
