We have kids too!
We’re so happy to welcome families to our cabin — we’ve designed the space with little ones in mind so parents can relax a bit while still enjoying the Smokies. You’ll find a selection of kid-friendly amenities throughout the cabin, from baby and toddler gear to games and cozy spaces for story time. Throughout this guidebook we’ve highlighted family-friendly hikes, local attractions, and on-site activities that are perfect for young explorers and their grown-ups.
Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Dollywood offer tons of family fun. In Pigeon Forge, check out The Island for rides, fountains, and casual dining, plus mini golf, arcades, and the Titanic Museum for curious kids. Gatlinburg has Ripley’s Aquarium and the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tram for easy, scenic adventures—look for short nature trails and the SkyLift Park for safe, high-elevation views. And of course, Dollywood is a must: it has rides and shows for all ages, a dedicated kids’ area, live entertainment, and seasonal events that families love.
That said, this is mountain living, and safety matters. The cabin has multiple flights of stairs and high decks, so please keep a close eye on children at all times and use gates or supervision as needed. We provide items to help, but nothing replaces attentive care—especially with toddlers and babies. If you need recommendations for age-specific trails or activities, check the other sections of this guidebook for curated options that match your family’s needs.
