Welcome to the Smokies! Hi — I'm Becky, and I'm so genuinely happy you're here. Tippity Top is our family's cabin, and we've poured a lot of love into it over the years. Every upgrade, every little comfort — it's all because we want guests to feel at home the moment they walk in.

A little about me

This is definitely not required reading — but if you'd like to know a little about us, here you go. My day job is managing an office, but I love to travel, read, work in the yard, and spend time with my family. I'm a wife and a mom to twin girls, and Eastern Tennessee has a special place in our hearts.

We love the dichotomy of this area — the serenity of the Smoky Mountains on one side, and the never-ending buzz of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on the other. There is so much to do here, whether you're chasing waterfalls or roller coasters. I'm having a great time helping our guests make the most of it, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

About this place

The cabin sits at the top of Hatcher Mountain in Wears Valley — away from the crowds but only minutes from everything. We fell in love with this spot because of the views: on a clear morning the Smoky Mountains layer off into the distance in every direction. We built the outdoor spaces — the hot tub, the barrel sauna, the fireplaces — around that view so you're never far from it.

What we hope for your stay

My goal is to make your stay as smooth and effortless as possible. The guidebook has everything we can think of — how things work, where we like to eat, which hikes are worth it. But if you ever have a question or need anything at all, just contact us. We're never far, and we'd always rather hear about something right away than read about it after you've left — so please let me know the moment anything seems out of order or could be better.
