This digital guidebook is provided by the owners of Tippity Top, a private vacation rental in Wears Valley, Tennessee. We care about your privacy and keep things simple: we only collect what you choose to share, and we never sell your information. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Information you give us. If you use a form in this guidebook (such as the First Impressions form), we receive what you submit — a star rating and comments, and, only if you choose to add them, your name, phone number, email, and whether you’d like to hear from us.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and form providers may automatically log standard information (such as a device type or an approximate, IP-based location) to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use advertising trackers.
• On-device storage. If you add the guidebook to your home screen, your device caches the content so it works offline. That stays on your device.

How we use it

• To respond to you and resolve anything that needs our attention during your stay.
• To improve the cabin and the guest experience.
• Only if you opt in, to send occasional news and offers about Tippity Top. You can opt out anytime.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the guidebook and deliver your messages to us — for example, our website host and the form/email delivery service that sends submissions to our inbox. They process the data only to provide their service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Smart-home controls

Any in-cabin smart-home features work over the cabin’s local network and are not used to collect personal information about you. Exterior security cameras are covered in our Security cameras section.

Your choices

• Sharing your name and contact details is always optional — you can send feedback without them.
• You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by telling us or using the unsubscribe link in an email.
• You can ask us to access or delete the information you’ve shared — just contact us.

Children

This guidebook is intended for the adults arranging and managing a stay, and is not directed to children.

Retention

We keep what you share only as long as we need it — typically to address your stay and, where applicable, our records — and then dispose of it.
