Your Cabin
Music

Each level of the cabin has its own outdoor Bluetooth speaker — perfect for a little music on the deck while you take in the view. They're easy to use: connect your phone and play whatever you like.

Outdoor Bluetooth speakers
An outdoor speaker on every level.

Quick connect

  1. 1Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and scan for devices.
  2. 2Connect to “MZ-511” (it may show as “MZ 511”).
  3. 3Open your music app and press play — it'll come through the speakers.
  4. 4Adjust the volume from your phone, not the speaker.
That's really it! If several speakers are already paired together, just connect to the one that's playing (the “Main”) — the others follow along automatically.
A neighborly note: these speakers are intentionally on the quiet side so we don't disturb the neighborhood. Please keep the volume low after dinner and before breakfast — sound carries on the ridge.

How the speakers sync — and the lights

The speakers talk to each other so your music can play across levels. The colored LED tells you what each one is doing:

  • Blue flashing = ready to pair / the Main speaker your phone connects to.
  • Red = an “Aux” speaker that's networked to the Main one.
  • Your phone will only connect when a speaker shows the blue light. If it's flashing red, long-press the Networking key on that speaker to switch it back to blue.
To disconnect a speaker, long-press its Networking key. There's an extender tool nearby so you can reach it — no ladder or chair needed. Bluetooth range is about 15 m (50 ft), so stay reasonably close.

Indoor speakers

More indoor audio is on the way — we're still finalizing it, with a Bluetooth soundbar planned for the basement level. For now, the outdoor speakers and your TVs have you covered. Stay tuned!
