The hot tub is one of the best seats in the house — and a few simple rules keep the water clean and everyone safe.
Before & during your soak
Rinse off lotions, sunscreen, and sweat before getting in — it keeps the water clean for everyone.
Keep soaks to 15–20 minutes at a stretch; take breaks to cool down and stay hydrated. Too long can cause dizziness or overheating.
Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
If you're pregnant, have a heart condition, or take medication that affects temperature or alertness, please check with your doctor first.
Maximum 5 people at a time.
Keeping it clean & safe
Keep the cover on when the tub isn't in use.
No glass or breakables nearby — please use non-breakable cups.
No diving, running, or rough play; the area gets slippery.
No oils, lotions, or bath products in the water.
If anyone's feeling ill (especially with diarrhea), please skip the tub until fully recovered.
Keep noise down after 10:00 PM for the neighbors.
Notice a leak, an unusual noise, or discolored water? Tell us right away — and please don't attempt repairs or chemical adjustments yourself. New to the controls? See The hot tub for how to use it.
