If you Break Something

It happens.
Please let us know if anything gets broken during your stay — a quick message helps us keep the cabin safe and comfortable for the next guests. For small items (broken glasses, a chipped mug, a lost remote, torn dish towel), we won’t charge you; we just appreciate an honest note so we can replace or repair when convenient. If you can, tell us what happened and where the item is so we can assess it more quickly.
If something larger is damaged (furniture, appliances, structural items, major stains), we’ll contact you to discuss a fair resolution — usually an agreed reimbursement, a repair arranged by us, or using any applicable security deposit or insurance if needed. We’ll document the damage, share photos and estimates, and keep the process transparent and courteous. Accidents happen; we aim to handle them fairly and professionally, and prompt communication from guests makes that much easier.
